We live very close to the tourist area of the little paradise called Bombinhas. As we have no less than 39 beautiful beaches, the area is filled up with people. It’s Christmas time! 🙂

As everybody likes to have new things before Christmas we had the luck to find an armchair structure and a sofa wood structure on our way home.

And, that’s what we did today, after the morning market, I refurbished the armchair with the kids.

I polished it with a sponge and eco-refreshed with a solution of equal parts of coconut oil, soy sauce and apple vinegar. For toning, we used food colorant.

The sofa follows, if I don’t find anything better in the meantime. 🙂

Talking with my sister on the phone and telling her  how cool it is now that we rent a gorgeous and empty house as we like it, the effects of the “Papa Noel” leave wonderful gifts for us.

Patrick, my little sweet nephew hears the conversation and expresses himself gorgeously:

“Uncle Babi, are you sitting on the garbage now?! :)))”

I had to explain to him the theory of 3R : Reduce, Recycle , Reuse.

What for?!

For not to stay on the garbage! :)))

Locuim foarte aproape de zona turistia a micului paradis numit Bombinhas. Cum in jur avem nici mai mult nici mai putin de 39 de “plaji frumosi”, zona s-a umplut! Cum toata lumea se inoieste de Craciun, spre norocul nostru am gasit astazi in drum spre casa, o structura de fotoliu si canapea.

Si, cam asta am facut astazi, dupa piata de dimineata, am reconditionat fotoliul impreuna cu copiii.

L-am slefuit cu un burete de sarma si improspatat eco cu o solutie din parti egale de ulei de cocos, sos de soia si otet de mere.

Pentru nuantare, am folosit colorant alimentar. Urmeaza canapeaua, asta daca nu gasesc ceva mai bun intre timp.

Si vorbind astazi la telefon cu sora-mea si povestindu-i ce misto e ca exact acum cand ne-am inchiriat o casa superba si goala cum ne place noua, efectele sarbatorii mosului se lasa cu urmari minunate pentru noi.

Patrick, nepotelul meu mic si iubit, aude conversatia si se exprima superb:

–  Auzi, unchiu Babi, tu stai acum pe gunoaie?

Si a trebuit sa stau sa-i explic copilului teoria celor 3 R, Reduce, Recicla, Reutiliza.

Ca sa ce?! 🙂

Pai, ca sa nu stam pe gunoaie!
