The holiday is a touristic activity that implies an end. You have to get back from holiday, right? 

The permanent traveller is NOT in a permanent holiday although he always travels. 

The permanent traveller is, opposed to the occasional one, traveling from one place to another without going back home. 

If we thought of the next destination as home, we might say he was always going back home. 

Although the travel is the priority of the permanent traveller, there is no time for going back, as there is no time for getting somewhere. 

The permanent traveller has a particular relationship with time, for him time being relative. 

A holiday without too much money is not a holiday, it’s creative travel. For the creative travel you don’t need a lot of money. 

Tourism means somebody must financially benefit from the fact that you are there. This is not true all the time for us. 

Yesterday Lavinia remembered her mom and, with moist eyes, she sat on a bench under a palm tree on the side of Jucurucu river, right in front of a boat of fishermen. 

I played the compassionate guy and comforted her, rubbing her shoulders. 

She recovered quickly and hugged me, wetting my shirt. 

Anyway, the fishermen saw all the scene and gave us 2 fish, fairly big. 

We asked how we could pay, they answered how we could cook them. 

We thanked and we left. 

Are you nuts, my mother-in-law sent us fish! 

What could we do, we fried them and ate them. 

We brought the rice and the salad. 

The catch: you don’t get this happening on a holiday!

TURISM CREATIV

Concediul este o activitate turistica ce implica un final, un sfarsit. Din concediu trebuie sa te intorci, nu?!

Calatorul permanent NU este intr-un concediu permanent, desi calatoreste permanent!

Calatorul permanent spre deosebire de cel de ocazie pleaca dintr-un loc in altul fara sa se mai intoarca acasa. Daca ne-am gandi ca acasa inseamna urmatoarea destinatie, am putea spune ca se intoarce acasa tot timpul.

Desi calatoria este prioritatea numarul unu pentru calatorul permanent nu exista timp pentru intoarcere, nici timp pentru a ajunge undeva.

Calatorul permanent are o relatie deosebita cu timpul, pentru el timpul fiind relativ.

Concediu fara prea multi bani nu se mai numeste concediu ci calatorie creativa. Pentru a calatori creativ, nu ai nevoie de multi bani.

Turism inseamna ca cineva trebuie sa beneficieze financiar de faptul ca esti tu acolo.

Nu este tot timpul adevarat.

Ieri, Lavinia s-a gandit la mama ei si si-a umezit un pic ochii. S-a retras pe o banca, sub un palmier crescut pe malul raului Jucurucu, exact in fata unei barci cu pescari.

Eu am ars-o compasional si m-am grabit la a-i framanta umerii, gen masaj.

S-a linistit repede si am luat-o in brate, udandu-mi camasa pe piept.

In fine, pescarii au vazut toata scena si s-au simtit nevoiti sa ne dea doi pesti maricuti. I-am intrebat cat face, mi-au raspuns ca se face la tigaie!

Am multumit si am plecat!

Soacra-mea ne-a trimis peste, ai innebunit?!

Ce sa facem, l-am prajit si l-am mancat.

Noi am pus orezul si salata!

Morala:

Cand esti in concediu, nu ti se intampla d’astea!
