02 Dec BOMBINHAS – 21 NOVEMBER 2017 – TRAVEL DIARY
Happyness is happiness with a jasmine scent!
Bombinhas is a peninsula the shape of a shark, at least this is my perception and we are now on its fin.
As I am a multi-passion person, meaning that I have multiple passions, one of them is staying. Not just staying, but staying as a state of being when you don’t do anything. Anything – at all, do you understand? A meditative state where you just let your thoughts free without trying to stop them in any way. This way I came to the idea of speaking of slow travel, animism, Shipibo, money, energy and on-line, a cocktail that doesn’t seem to blend, but in my “staying in style” state it blends just fine.
A few years back I lived for a while in a village of Shipibo Indians in the Amazon jungle. Here I discovered a version of Animism. The word “animism” comes from the Latin “anima” = spirit and is used to refer to the religion of the primitive cultures. According to Shipibo Indians, all that surrounds us has energy of its own: water, rocks, mountains, even man made things. For them diseases are energetic blockages.
For me, like for these “retarded” Shipibo, everything is energy and vibration and I was amazed to feel the energy of the on-line as a result of Lavinia’s article on republica.ro and the share of our page by Radu F. Contantinescu. With the sudden increase of popularity came an unexpected high number of messages. The messages were fine, but the energy of the minds, all thinking of the same subject in the same time interval, moved energy in the Universe. I wasn’t expecting it, but it was interesting. This energy of the people, most of them thinking about money, caused me to react and as Aris has wanted to become a surfer ever since he used to watch the surfers in Chile, we decided that with the last money we would buy a surfboard.
We will be surfers! I don’t like water much, mostly because of the salt. I am a little gay when speaking of ocean water, as Carla says. So after this shopping session we were left with $100 for fruits.
So now I stay and I enjoy watching the kids growing every moment, I enjoy every day a sunrise holding Lavinia’s hand, on the beach, with a ristretto and a cigarette that the Argentinians call “el manianero” and write while listening to the ocean and thinking of the Universe.
So we have a week of surfing ahead of us, sun, beach, love, fruits and writing… No money, or, better said, little money.
Now it’s my turn to ask; is your month full of joy with moments of sadness or sad with moments of joy?
How much do you spend for that?
You got it by now, I’m sure, happyness is not about figures! 🙂

O stare meditativa in care sa dai liber la ganduri fara sa incerci sa le opresti in vreun fel. Asa mi-a venit in cap sa va vorbesc un pic despre slow travel, animism, shipibo, bani, energie si on-line, un cocktail ce pare fara legatura dar in starea mea de “stat cu stil” am gasit una!
Acu ceva ani in urma, am trait o vreme intr-un sat de indieni shipibo, in jungla Amazoniana. Aici am descoperit o varianta a Animismului.
